Last month, STLLC created a Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) Profile for use by organizations seeking to align their cybersecurity risk management programs with the White House Fact Sheet published 3/22/2022. CSF Profiles are a great tool for organizations seeking to update or start their cybersecurity risk management programs by leveraging industry best practice.
As part of our government outreach program STLLC submitted our Whitehouse Factsheet Profile as a CSF Resource to NIST. The CSF Resource page is a collection of industry submitted best practices, tools, guidelines, implementation guides, etc. which help organizations use the CSF. These resources must be vetted through NIST’s official process before being posted on their website.
As of yesterday, the Profile was accepted as an official NIST resource for the CSF! This achievement is a first for STLLC and we are excited to contribute to the community through our outreach programs. While the Profile was available on our site, being listed on the NIST site will help organizations find the tools they need to improve their cybersecurity risk management programs. And that is a wave worth catching!
See ya next time!
